They have to be prepared to sweat it out now, for the longer-term success. They have to challenge you, question you, support you and motivate you. At the same time, you need to challenge them, motivate them, and support them. It’s a team effort, and without your team, you’re going to find it difficult to succeed.
Get your marketing strategy right. Chat to professionals in the area, if it’s not your strong suit. Ask the people who know. Get a clear, simple marketing strategy, and stick to it – but don’t be afraid to adapt or change if it’s not working. You don’t need a 100 page plan – if you can get your ideas down onto one page, then that’s perfect. Be flexible, measure your results, and adjust as you need to.
